Effects of Acupuncture on Symptoms of Stable Angina: A Randomized Controlled Trial Heading link

A team of researchers from the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) and University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) is conducting a research study to examine the effectiveness of acupuncture for the treatment of stable angina (chest pain syndrome), called the EASE Study.

Stable angina is predictable chest pain on exertion or with mental or emotional stress. Angina usually causes uncomfortable pressure, fullness, squeezing or pain in the center of the chest. It can lead to heart attack and other health problems.

If you have been diagnosed with stable angina (chest pain syndrome), you may be able to participate in this research study.
