Participants are randomly assigned (like flipping a coin) to one of two groups: an acupuncture group and a control group that watches TED talks. We will not know which group you are in until after you consent to participate.

Acupuncture Participants will get acupuncture treatments in addition to your current care for stable angina. Participants will go to the UIC College of Nursing twice a week for 5 weeks (10 sessions total). Each acupuncture appointment takes about 1 hour.

TED Talks Control Group Participants will watch TED Talks in addition to your current care for stable angina. Participants will go to the UIC College of Nursing once a week for five weeks (5 sessions total). Each control group visit will take about 90 minutes.
