Acupuncture to Relieve the Pain of Angina
Once our computer program assigns you to the acupuncture group, you will come into UIC College of Nursing twice a week for five weeks.
At each session, the acupuncturist inserts needles into acupuncture points on the body. The needles stay in for around 30 minutes, while you lay on a massage table. During the sessions, the needles will be adjusted about every 10 minutes. You will receive $400 for your participation.
